Custom Acoustic Canvas
The acoustic canvas is another application of Silentmax® material, maintaining its full acoustic properties while allowing for high-quality custom prints. Thanks to a specialized printing method, the material absorbs sound energy just as effectively, reducing echo and noise in modern interiors, offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, and more. While it has a smaller effective absorption area compared to Silentmax3D, it offers greater flexibility in integrating with interior design.
Our frameless acoustic canvas is slim and modern, with a customizable printed motif that can be subtle and elegant or bold and expressive. Its contribution to acoustic performance and aesthetics is permanent. Made from 100% recycled PET, it is highly durable, non-flammable, odor-proof, and easy to maintain. Silentmax® panels are strong yet only 12mm thick, while the print itself is of the highest quality.
Special Printing Method
We print directly onto Silentmax® while preserving its acoustic performance. The paint droplets surround individual 20 µm fibers without sealing the structure, ensuring the panel remains breathable. This means neither the acoustic nor physical properties change over time.

Acoustic Comfort
Noise has a well-documented negative impact on human health. When architectural and interior design fails to consider sound behavior, compensatory acoustic treatments become essential. Excessive reverberation hinders concentration, makes speech unclear, and creates an exhausting listening environment.
Improving Acoustics in Modern Interiors
Acoustic balance is often overlooked in both residential and commercial spaces, despite its significant effect on psychological well-being. Modern apartments, especially minimalist interiors, frequently lack sound-absorbing materials, leading to excessive reverberation. Long reverberation times not only impair speech and music clarity but also disrupt spatial localization of sound.
Reverberation time is a key acoustic parameter in enclosed spaces, ideally ranging between 0.2 and 0.5 seconds. Over-dampened rooms can feel oppressive, while spaces without enough damping create noticeable echoes, such as the harsh reverberation of clinking cutlery. The accumulation of acoustic energy results from reflections off hard surfaces like ceilings, floors, windows, and walls.
Controlling reverberation requires the use of soft, sound-absorbing materials. In addition to specially designed acoustic panels and diffusers, effective solutions include thick curtains, carpets, and upholstered furniture. Silentmax® acoustic canvases provide both aesthetic appeal and exceptional sound absorption, ensuring a balanced and comfortable acoustic environment.Â
